As expected, CIS is increasing its filing fees. The change will not go into effect until July 30, however.
A full list of filing fees may be found at http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/FinalUSCISFeeSchedule052907.pdf
Note that many of the increases are substantial. CIS explains that this is necessary because Congress has mandated that adjudications be self-supporting through fees for service.
We will endeavor to file all eligible cases before the change goes into effect assuming that all documents have been received and forms signed. However, for cases that cannot be filed, we will need the additional amounts for filing fees before we can file them with the increased fees.
What a way to start our summer!
